defending alloidial land titles and Konohiki customary Rights
Mana Wainiha and the Kiha Piʻilani Project activate family members and native Hawaiian tenants to engage in their rights and interests in loʻi (taro patches) and to occupy, protect and restore customary practices and lifestyles on sovereign land. They seek to bring forth the truth of clear land titles designated by the Kingdom of Hawaiʻi and to bring about the restoration of sustainable ahupuaʻa systems under the guidance of Na Konohiki.
