Restoring and perpetuating the culture of Native Hawaiian people through their lands, lifestyles, and sustainable systems. Preserving, protecting and restoring all cultural sites on the island of Kauaʻi.
Na Konohiki o Haleleʻa practice balance and stewardship of the natural resources and people maximizing health, productivity and moving toward sustainability. Our goal is to prevent suicide, reduce obesity, and maximize physical and mental health by providing services and alternatives for the youth and community through cultural based projects and activities. By offering these services, we can provide a healing foundation to take the troubled youth and the people of the community away from the hardships introduced to society.
